This is a very rare Loewe vintage Velazquez Ecuestre scarf in 100% silk

The design depicts Diego Velazquez's most famous equestrian paintings, featuring French and Spanish royalty from 1620-1630

Diego Rodríguez de Silva y Velázquez was a Spanish painter and the leading artist in the court of King Philip IV and of the Spanish Golden Age. He was an individualistic artist of the contemporary Baroque period

The scarf is a rare piece that dates back to around 1990

This beautiful scarf has vibrant tones of red, gold, blue and black running throughout it, and the Loewe branding, along with the name of the design, in the bottom right hand corner of the border, worked into the incredible pattern

The scarf was made in Italy

The silk is completely intact, with no pulls, snags or holes

There are a few minor marks to the silk, however these are barely noticable
